The blade is nice and sharp, great geometry and well treated steel. The clip on the opposite end makes for quick and easy storage and retrieval. However, the reason for the markdown of the rating is the blade does not fully open and lock open. I have tried to even apply a good amount of opposing pressure on the blade to push it open to lock and it will not stay open and will fold up very quickly. So because it doesn’t lock open and will just close super easily it’s a safety concern.
