Pivot Cuff – Sterling Silver

A hand-forged complement to your timepiece.

Pittsburg is known for a lot of things (we’re looking at you Primanti Bros), but above all else, it’s known for being steel country. So it’s no surprise that Michael Studebaker, a Pittsburgh native, is making his living off manipulating metal into every day objects. Working out of a basement studio, Studebaker bends metals like brass and silver to his will, turning out products using traditional methods that command respect.

The Hand-Forged Pivot Cuff is an example of how old school metal working produces superior, made-to-last products. The cuff was made with over 100 hammer blows, and then twisted to create a smooth arc. Available in brass, copper, or sterling silver, the cuff only gets better looking with time, and bends slightly to adjust for a better fit. Studebaker stamps each product with his name and “Pittsburgh,” reminding you where your heirloom-worthy piece was born.

  • Sizing your cuff is important. To get the circumference of your wrist, wrap a piece of string around your wrist, mark where the circle is completed, and lay the string next to a ruler. The finished cuff is left with a 1” opening, but can be adjusted to slide in easily from the inside of the wrist, above the wrist bone. The below measurements are the overall inside circumference of the cuff, including the 1” gap, and allow for a .25” flex in either direction
  • M 6.5”
  • L 7”
  • XL 7.5”
