My wife got it

Hands down best gift I’ve got I a while. My wife ordered them and I’ve been finding reasons to use them every chance I get!
This is one seriously unique kitchen set. Hand-forged in a small Thai village by talented artisans, these blades are forged through centuries of culinary tradition. The moon knife's unique rounded shape allows for a longer cut and an effortless, back-and-forth rocking motion, while the straight-edged slicer combines the duties of a chef's knife and a smaller utility blade for detail work — like mincing and paper-thin slicing. And because they're completely handmade, each blade will have a distinctly unique look and feel.

Looks great and gift box/packaging is beautiful but mostly just for show. Don’t seen these ever actually being used for culinary purposes

Love these knives! They are super sharp and just lovely to look at. They come in a gorgeous box with their story of origin, which I think is a lovely touch.

The blade is nice and it's weighted well, but the handle is not flush with the top of the blade so when you use it the blade digs into your hand. Planning to return.

Read some reviews which said these knives came razor sharp. This was not the case for mine, quite dull and needed extensive sharpening. They also rust incredibly easily. I know to be carful with carbon steel, dry quickly etc., but even with extra precautions the blade had rust after the first use. Have been putting oil on after each use to prevent, just in case. Overall, not going to return but also would not recommend.
