A well executed upgrade to the vintage portable “Walkman” style cassette player. Solid construction, clean design elements and excellent sound. The Bluetooth feature made this purchase choice all the better.

This cassette player is absolutely perfect! I bought it as a gift for my vintage loving melomaniac wife, it was a smash hit and we have been enjoying all of her old tapes for weeks as a result.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this play actual cassette tapes, or is it only a Bluetooth device?
It plays actual cassette tapes — that's its primary function. The We Are Rewind player is a fully functional cassette deck with standard controls (fast forward, rewind, volume, headphone output, audio input for making mixtapes) housed in a retro aluminum case, with Bluetooth 5.1 added as a modern upgrade.
Can it be used as a Bluetooth adapter in a car with a cassette deck?
Yes — insert the player into your car's cassette deck and stream audio from your phone via Bluetooth directly through your car speakers. Reviewers who still have cassette decks in older vehicles specifically love this functionality. It's a world-first feature for a cassette player.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 12 hours of continuous playback on a full rechargeable lithium battery charge. A reviewer on a 10-day road trip describes it performing reliably throughout. Battery life is one of its most practically useful modern upgrades over vintage cassette players.
What's the audio quality like for tape playback?
The audio mechanism has been fine-tuned to deliver quality that rivals the best cassette players of the format's heyday — warm, analog-faithful sound with genuine character. Reviewers who use it on road trips describe the listening experience as truly enjoyable and distinct from streaming. It's faithful to the cassette experience, not a degraded simulation.
Can you make mixtapes with it?
Yes — it includes an audio input specifically for recording mixtapes onto blank cassette tapes. Combined with the Bluetooth output, you can mix analog and digital audio in ways that weren't possible with vintage players.
