For the price it's not worth it. The one I received had a broken compass lense dial was extremely loose. The illumination was not very good and only last a few minutes. The guide markers dont glow at all. The brass case is ok but was all scratched. Maybe they call it weatherization marks. Just save yourself and get a good tritium lensatic compass.

There is nothing more correct as a real solid piece of survival gear that you can count on . GPS will not always be there . This compass will outlast you . Learn how to use it and you will never be lost . Hand it down to the next generation along with a good knife and a fire starter. They will be able to find their way when most cannot.
