1. Unroll the tarp and poles and lay the tarp flat on the ground with the zipper at the front
2. Place the large pole through the front anchors to create a half-moon hoop at the opening and secure it with the clips
3. Insert the small poles from the opening to the back and clip them in
4. Tie the top loop fabric to the cross sections to fasten the poles
5. Secure the Outdoor Shade to the ground with metal stakes — we recommend you add weighted items inside the shade on each corner when not inside
6. Inside, the toggle clips can be used to secure window shades when rolled down
